We invite you to use our website to see what our school is about: people learning and working together in an academic setting rooted in the traditions of Episcopal spirituality. Your visit to our website will help you to understand why so many families have been drawn to this school for so many years: it’s a place where academic achievement and personal, spiritual growth coincide. That’s why our ads proclaim, Because challenging academics are not enough. At St. Mark’s, you will find a thriving Episcopal school that has prepared students for secondary education (and beyond) for almost fifty years. You will find a school community in which students, parents, faculty and staff join in an effort to prepare children not just to be accomplished learners but also responsible citizens of the twenty-first century. Thus, while we encourage and nourish creativity as well as core academic learning, we also seek to instill a sense of personal honor, a sense of community, a sense of personal responsibility, a sense of decency. We strive to make the Christian ethos underlying Episcopal education a conscious part of our honor code and of our school.
