 | St. Mark's Book Fair was a great success this year. We actually sold $200 more books
than last year. The net sales were $20,800
and our cash profit to the two libraries was $5,200. We also received 48 book donations for the libraries.
Classroom libraries got a great boost through the Teacher Wish list
program, with the hands down winner being Mr. Price's classroom library. We received $675 in books from the fair for the two libraries.
The One For Books program where people donated their change, brought in
$124.28 which was taken in bilingual books and donated to the Jingle Bell
Express -- St. Mark's new toys and books collection drive for needy children.
Tons of great parent volunteers,
great family night entertainment by Sonia Kerrigan, the MS dance elective class, and
a bagpiper/dancer combo from St. Thomas. Thanks to the 8th graders who
volunteered with the crafts and costumes as well. And a big thanks to our
co-chairs Michi Clay and Denise Snyder. |
