Join our experienced Kindergarten team and assist the lead teacher in engaging our students as they develop early literacy and numeracy skills. Your day will be filled with supporting student’s learning individually and in small groups as well as navigating dramatic play experiences, fostering creativity and exploring indoor and outdoor learning environments. Our Kindergarten classrooms are resource-rich with our Kindergarten students enjoying a 1:1 iPad technology program. Our 4th Grade Teaching Assistant defines flexibility. Rotating between two classrooms and working under the lead 4th Grade teachers, this position bolsters daily learning objectives. One thing that differentiates our Teaching Assistants is the ability to support instruction in their own way, make suggestions and adjustments and even pull out students and small groups to extend learning. Teamwork is a critical component of the work we do and valuing collegial relationships is non-negotiable.
We’re big on global awareness and cultural sensitivity at St. Mark’s, and one of the ways we teach and practice it is through a robust Digital Citizenship curriculum. The Computer Science Teacher needs to love exploring new resources and keeping our students current on STEM concepts and technology support in a cross curricular environment. We live in a 1:1 iPad world, and you will have access to all the latest technology and apps that our students need and want for research, graphic design, and to support core subject projects. You will help guide the curriculum in collaboration with the other grade level faculty and our IT Department.

Teaching 7th Grade Science on a 3-person Middle School Science team at St. Mark’s may be the perfect job for you.
