Extended Care Program

At St. Mark's we offer several extended care options for our families. Our students enjoy being here after hours and spending time with their friends. The After School program is incredibly popular at St. Mark’s, with approximately 20% of families enrolled. Our Extended Care Programs carry on the mission of the school day in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere. Students experience joy, playfulness, and growth in a safe environment.

In the life of a student, balancing academic life and extracurricular activities can be challenging. At St. Mark’s, we strive to provide students with the tools and skills they will need to learn to manage their own time.

Before School

The Before School Program is offered to students in Pre-K through 8th grade. The Before School Program provides adult supervision beginning at 7:00 AM for families who need to drop off children before our official arrival time of 7:30 AM. Note that students may be dropped off between 7:30 and 7:40 AM with no charge to the family. Those students should report to Before School in Hauser Hall until the doors open at 7:40.

Early Birds Program

The Early Birds program is offered for students in Preschool 2s and Preschool 3s with older siblings arriving for the 8:00 AM arrival time. This program provides adult supervision beginning at 7:40 AM for families who qualify for Early Bird drop off before their official arrival time of 8:30 AM.

Extended Day

The Extended Day Program allows students in Preschool 2s the option of extending their school day until 2:30 PM. The extended time will include an afternoon nap. A small number of Preschool 3s students may enroll in extended care program, from 2:30 - 5:00 PM. Drop-in care is not available for either of these programs. Registration is required for regular attendance.

After School

The After School program is available to families with students in Pre-K through 8th grade needing daily or part-time after school care. The program includes snack time, outside recreation, homework time for Elementary and Middle School students or informal inside activities for younger children. Daily care ends promptly at 6:00 PM, and parents will be charged $15 at 6:05 for late pick-up and then will be charged $2 per minute beginning at 6:06. A smart phone clock will be used to determine the exact time of pick-up. Parents who are consistently late for picking up children from After School will be subject to further fines and removal from the program at the discretion of the Director Of Extended Programs.

Registration is required for regular attendance.

After School Clubs

St. Mark’s is proud to offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities to students in Pre-K through 8th Grade with the mission of developing the whole child. These clubs are conveniently located on campus after school. Our clubs program allows students to explore their interests, learn new skills, and develop their passions. Clubs are offered by outside groups and by St. Mark’s faculty members. Past activities include Tae Kwon Do, piano lessons, ceramics, golf, dance, soccer, robotics, and cooking.
