The Zentangle method allows for unplanned and easy to learn creativity. The works are composed of dots, lines, simple curves, and orbs. These elements encourage the artist to focus on the process and the individual stroke they are making at the time, and not the end result. When these 6th graders were given their own area to create freely in, using this unique method, the combined result is truly zen.

An Annual Fundraising Tradition

The annual spring gala to support St. Mark’s Episcopal School is a time-honored tradition. We rely on community partners to help us advance our mission and provide the best educational environment for our children.

The generous gift of our leadership team, underwriters, sponsors, and donors strengthen our ability to advance our mission while reducing our annual operating costs.

In even years we hold a Gala, an evening event with a seated dinner and a band. In odd years, we hold the more casual UnGala, which takes place here on campus with hors d’ oeuvres and a full bar. Proceeds from the St. Mark’s Gala or UnGala benefit special projects around campus. Funds from previous events have been earmarked for things like facility upgrades, keeping our campus secure, professional development, and our ongoing commitment to improving technology.

Thanks to these sparkling Gala supporters!
