Mini Art Car Parade Information
It's time to start planning and building those art cars for our second annual St. Mark's Mini Art Car Parade, which will take place during first period Rise and Shine on Friday, March 31, 2017.
This year, weather permitting, we will have the parade outside. Otherwise, it will be held in the Reeder Gymnasium. The parade is open to students in Pre-K and up. The parade is purely for showcasing our creativity, and is not a contest. All entries are welcome and encouraged. Individual students, family groups, or groups of students are welcome to participate.
How Do I Enter?
Build/decorate/create and enter a wheeled vehicle (no longer than 24 inches) that you can pull, carry in your arms, or drive remotely. The deadline to let Mrs. Mitchell know you wish to participate is Wednesday, March 29. All vehicles should be brought to the library the day before the parade.
Vehicles may be worked on either at home or at school. The Parent Guild Idea Lab will be open on Tuesday mornings from 7:20 – 7:55, beginning on February 7, for students in the 2nd grade and up if you wish to work on your car at school. Otherwise, you may decorate it at home. Students coming to work in the Parent Guild Idea Lab will need to stop by the front office and get a pass on their way upstairs to work.
