St. Mark’s Episcopal School in Houston, Texas is seeking a creative, organized, team player to serve as an Early Childhood Teaching Assistant.
The primary job of an early childhood teaching assistant at St. Mark’s is to work with the lead teacher to support the children as they participate in learning activities in the classroom. Other responsibilities may include: classroom set-up and snack preparation, helping to supervise children in the classroom, on the playground, and at lunch. As a member of the Lower School faculty, the assistant is expected to support the mission and philosophy of the school. Experience guiding children between the ages of two and five in a school setting along with either a CDA or education degree is required. The position is open until filled. Position hours are from 7:30 AM -3:45 PM. The position begins on August 3, 2018.
