Summer at St. Mark's Highlights

NEW FOR SUMMER 2024: This summer we’ve streamlined our camp experiences into three adventures: Movement, The Arts, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math). Campers can mix and match between weeks or become a pro by staying within the same adventure each week. Each of these adventure pathways will still include our Wacky Water Wednesdays and Fun + Fabulous Fridays where campers get to enjoy water play and the thematic Here-Trip visits from outside groups.

Each week we’ll also be working on specific elements included in self-discovery. Campers can collect stickers to show the work they’re doing toward each skill: creativity, curiosity, adventure, courage, compassion, confidence, and many more. Our hope is that campers attend as many weeks as possible to keep collecting these amazing Summer at St. Mark’s stickers for their water bottles, journals, or keepsake collection.

Wacky Water Wednesdays: Campers enrolled in our full days will get to enjoy water play to cool off in the sun with a range of choices from water balloons to water slides. For more information regarding water play, please see our full camp descriptions.

Fun + Fabulous Fridays: Each Friday the Full Day Camp will have a ‘Here-Trip’ where campers can enjoy an experience that aligns with the week’s thematic adventures. For a full list of Here-Trips, check out the camp themes below.

Unfortunately, due to the shortened daily schedule, our half day camps do not allow for additional experiences like the Fun + Fabulous Friday and Wacky Water Wednesdays.

Optional Lunch Addition: Don’t feel like packing lunches? We offer the option to add on lunch provided from the camp. To see the lunch menu and for pricing, please visit our camp registration website.

Counselor in Training Program

This summer St. Mark’s will host the fourth year of our counselor-in-training program for middle school students hoping to gain leadership skills while having fun. In addition to leadership trainings like CPR and First Aid, interview skills, team building, resume writing, and service learning, our rising 5th through 8th graders will also get advanced classes throughout both morning and afternoon sessions in all three of our adventure routes: The Arts, Movement, and STEAM. Our middle school students will get to experience both the fun of camp in challenging and age-level sessions plus the leadership skills we’ve emphasized the past several years with Summer at St. Mark’s!
