We are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership that brings a fresh approach to lunchtime for our students with Taher, Inc.

  • Fresh and Healthy Ingredients: Taher focuses on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible to create wholesome and balanced meals.

  • Kid-Friendly Menus: Tahir's menus are designed with students in mind, featuring familiar favorites alongside new and exciting options to encourage a variety of healthy eating habits. Faculty experienced some of their creative meals during in-service at the beginning of the school year, and dined on pho, steak and chicken bulgogi, paella, and gyros.

  • Dietary Accommodations: The School Nurse will continue to work closely with Taher to ensure that all dietary needs and restrictions are met with care and attention. Please contact Nurse Sarah Beckmann to discuss any specific requirements your child may have.

  • Transparency and Communication: Taher will be providing menus in a 6-week cycle along with nutritional information, which will be available.  Menus will be posted every 6 weeks to the portal for you to review with your child.

  • Student Feedback: Mrs. Taylor, Head of Middle School, will bring in groups of students throughout the year to provide feedback on the food being served. The students will partner with Taher to identify both favorites and items that are less popular with the student population.

  • Educational Programs: One of the most exciting aspects of this partnership is Taher’s creativity when it comes to bringing food into the classroom. The dining team is working with our Dean of Curriculum & Instruction to create tie-ins for units of learning and study.
